CHALLENGE:

Customer feedback about the poor fit between wire rope threaded terminations and the mating parts had our engineers working overtime on a better solution. Supplier parts could not meet the uncompromising quality we demand.

SOLUTION:

Serious about quality, MASPRO tooled up to produce the ropes in house using innovative European thread rolling technology. The hardening process of rolling the thread in one pass strengthens the profile, rather than disrupting its integrity by cutting into it, producing an accurate, wear, fatigue and corrosion resistant thread.

RESULT:

The cold working used on rolled threads delivers improved physical properties compared to other production methods such as cutting – increased tensile strength of threads, more accurate thread profiles, higher quality surface finish and superior resistance to wear, fatigue and corrosion.
